The Zins from our Estate have a unique aroma and taste profile, thanks to many terroir details including soil composition, microclimate and vine aspect. And each vintage has its own unique personality! In this case, we took Zinfandel fruit from two different vintages to produce a unique flavor and aroma profile. Look for jam, black pepper, cherry, plum, boysenberry, and licorice. The taste explodes with candied fruitiness followed by spice and a tobacco-like smoky finish. Pair with spiced BBQ, or lighter meats like quail, turkey, pork or veal. For vegetarians, think of roasted tomatoes, red peppers and caramelize onions. Fruit is Estate grown.
